CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER BEYOND GUIDE; WASHINGTON DC — 1999-2002
Beyond Guide, Inc developed novel new technology to provide tourist guidance services. Our idea was to extend a tourist experience beyond the confines of time and space of the site they were visiting. The Natural History Museum experience definitely extends the physical confinement of the museum housing natural history exhibits. The Beyond Guide tourist would have continued the experience once leaving the museum, living and witnessing in the real world what they saw in the museum where applicable. Similarly, a visitor to the American History museum would have extended the visit to the numerous historical sites in a radius of hundreds of miles from DC. Furthermore, the experience was tailored to the individual tourist, hence a tourist from Germany interested in architecture would get different guidance than an African American from Alabama focused on the civil rights struggle. BeyondGuide’s IP was co-authored by Yuval.
